Honor the House. Honor Yourself.

At Resilience House, structure means freedom, not control. By committing to sobriety, participation, and accountability, you regain your independence. These rules are designed to uplift you, not to break you down.

1. Sobriety Is Essential

  • No drugs or alcohol are allowed.

  • Regular and random drug tests are conducted.

  • One mistake may lead to discharge—no exceptions.

2. Be Responsible

  • Attend house meetings and weekly check-ins.

  • Complete your chores, pay rent on time, and maintain your space.

  • Follow through on your commitments.

3. Engage in a Recovery Program

  • Everyone must actively pursue a recovery path—be it 12-step, SMART, therapy, spiritual, or personal.

  • Avoid complacency. Aim for progress.

4. Value the Brotherhood

  • No tolerance for violence, threats, or bullying.

  • Respect others’ recovery, privacy, and personal space.

  • This house is built on trust. Don’t compromise it.

5. Contribute to the Community

  • Everyone shares daily and weekly chores.

  • Keep common areas tidy and manage your own mess.

  • You’re a resident, not a guest. Act accordingly.

6. Keep a Productive Routine

  • Residents must work, study, volunteer, or actively seek employment.

  • Avoid idleness. Purpose is crucial to recovery.

  • Curfews are enforced unless otherwise approved.

7. No Guests Without Approval

  • No overnight guests or unauthorized visitors.

  • Focus on recovery, not distractions.

8. Stay Open to Learning

  • Welcome feedback. Accept guidance. Remain humble.

  • You’re here to grow. Growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone.

  • Be open to coaching—or find another place.

9. Always Be Honest

  • Honesty is expected, not perfection.

  • Own your mistakes. That’s how you rebuild.

  • Lying, hiding, or manipulating will result in your removal.

10. Show Respect in Every Aspect

  • Respect the house, staff, your peers—and yourself.

  • Keep noise levels down, language clean, and energy positive in shared spaces.

  • The house reflects who we are. Keep it strong.

We’re not here to micromanage you—we’re here to support your independence. If you’re ready to take your life seriously, we’re here to support you.

By choosing to embrace this opportunity, you are not just changing your circumstances; you are changing your life. The Resilience House Community is ready to support you on this incredible journey.
